Urbanism in Focus
In October 2022, we organised Urbanism in Focus, a one-day exploratory event organised by Leicester Urban Observatory for LCB Depot’s Design Season. Academics and professionals came together to share ideas about Urbanism with different communities in Leicester.
City Series
Between 2016 and 2019, the Leicester Urban Observatory organised a series of public lectures focusing on the urban geography, history and architecture of the city of Leicester. The talks on a wide range of topics including disasters management, ecology, gentrification, health, landscape, social media and tourism were delivered by academics from the three universities, as well as practitioners and policymakers from the city council.
